HR Analytics
HR analytics is the systematic use of data to translate past HR events into future developments for an organization, allowing HR policy to optimize the way it helps achieve the organization’s objectives. HR Analytics can be used by HR and line managers to work on 'people performance'.
HR Analytics includes the use of tools such as HR reporting and instruments which deal with questions such as:
- What capacities should your workforce have in three to five years?
- What talent are you most likely to lose within a year?
- Which managers lose the most talent, and which bring the most up the ranks?
We have also seen HR Analytics becoming more crucial to HR in terms of:
- engaging line managers
- providing data to ensure management sees the added value of HR
- focusing HR on the human factors that influence performance in the organization
- identifying pressing talent issues where HR can offer added value
- measuring and improving talent strategy
However, FCTB has found that HR decision makers:
- don’t know how to make the transition to a set of professional HR Analytics tools
- have no-long term plan of how to continuously fine-tune and improve HR reporting
- have difficulty garnering the support they need to free up human and logistical resources for HR Analytics projects
That’s why FCTB helps organizations develop their HR Analytics. HR Analytics presents us with four important areas that we can help you examine in a methodical way:
- HR Analytics Quick Scan: This provides you with a clearer picture of how HR Analytics can make short-term improvements to your organization
- HR Analytics Scenario Analysis: This provides the tools for developing a roadmap for improving your HR Analytics environment
- HR Analytics Dashboard Development: This helps you align your HR Dashboard more closely to the organization’s strategy as a whole
- HR Analytics Technology Selection & Implementation: This helps you select the technology that will best help you implement your HR Analytics
